Best Braais & Fireplaces is a proudly South African e-commerce retailer established
in 2002, specialising in built-in braais, gas braais, fireplaces, flues and cowls. We sell
our own branded units manufactured locally in South Africa. Units are manufactured on order
with a lead time of approximately 10 to 15 business days.

We offer free delivery on all built-in braai and fireplace units to main centres:
Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, and Bloemfontein. Some major towns including George,
Pretoria, and Ballito also qualify for free delivery, confirmed at checkout.

Installation Environment Guidelines

Selecting the correct material grade depends on the installation environment:

• Indoors (any location): All material grades suitable — mild steel, 430, 304, or 316 stainless steel.
• Outdoors undercover, inland: 304 stainless steel recommended minimum.
• Outdoors exposed, coastal: 316 stainless steel recommended for maximum longevity.
• Within 5km of the coast: Salt spray exposure is likely even if not visible — upgrade to 316 stainless steel.

For mild steel and 430 stainless steel braais in coastal environments, all components
exposed above the brickwork must be 304 stainless steel or higher.

Standard Built-in Braais

Entry-level range for reliable performance without extras. Constructed from 2.5mm mild
steel, sprayed with heat-resistant black primer.

Includes: 2.5mm steel body, ember maker, potjie hook, braai grid (electro-plated),
light fitting, ashpan, ash tray & trap, 2 doors & 2 chains.

Available sizes: 800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1500mm.

DeLuxe Built-in Braais

Reinforced construction for regular demanding use. Features a thicker 3mm steel body
and a 304 stainless steel grid for improved durability and cooking performance.

Includes: reinforced 3mm steel body, reinforced ember maker, 1 x 304 stainless steel
grid, scraper tool, potjie hook, light fitting, ash pan & tray, double doors &
2 chains. 1200mm and 1500mm models supplied with 2 x half grids for different-level
cooking.

Available sizes: 800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1500mm.

Professional Built-in Braais

Designed for modern entertainment spaces. Features a single slide-in door that retracts
underneath the unit, freeing up workspace. Dual stainless steel grids allow flexible
cooking at different heights.

Includes: reinforced 3mm steel body, reinforced ember maker, 2 x 304 stainless steel
grids, scraper tool, potjie hook, light fitting, ash pan & tray, single slide-in
door.

Available sizes: 1200mm, 1500mm.

DeLuxe Spit Braais

DeLuxe specification with the addition of a heavy-duty spit motor for whole lamb or
hog spit-roasting. Spit motor cabinet included.

Includes: reinforced 3mm steel body, reinforced ember maker, 2 x 304 stainless steel
grids, scraper tool, potjie hook, light fitting, ash pan & tray, double doors &
chains, spit motor cabinet with door, heavy-duty spit motor & spit arm.

Available sizes: 1200mm, 1500mm.

Double-Sided Built-in Braais

Installed in an outer wall, accessible from both inside and outside. Effectively two
grilling stations in one unit — ideal for larger properties with indoor and outdoor
entertaining areas.

Includes: 3mm steel body, reinforced ember maker, 1 x 304 stainless steel grid,
potjie hook, light fitting, ash pan & tray, 4 x 3mm steel doors & 4 chains.

Combination Built-in Braais (Wood & Gas)

Features both a wood/charcoal burning section and a 2-burner gas grill section side
by side. Includes chicken rotisserie rod, prong set, and battery-operated rotisserie
motor. Available in 430 and 304 stainless steel.

304 Stainless Steel Built-in Braais

Entire unit constructed from 304 stainless steel including the body, doors, and grid.
Suitable for coastal inland installations and most South African environments.
Available in 800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, and 1500mm models.

316 Stainless Steel Built-in Braais

Maximum corrosion resistance for fully exposed coastal installations. Contains
molybdenum for enhanced salt water resistance. Recommended for outdoor coastal patios
and beachfront properties within 5km of the ocean.

Stainless Steel Insert Braais

Designed to slot into an existing brick braai cavity. Available in 430 stainless steel
(inland) and 304 stainless steel (coastal). Includes 2mm stainless steel body, single
door, ember maker, light fitting, ash pan, and zinc-plated grid.
