Choosing the Right Material
This model comes standard in mild steel, well suited to inland installations. Within a few kilometers of the coast, where salt air speeds up corrosion, we recommend upgrading to 304 stainless steel or higher – available as a special order on this model.

Two individually adjustable stainless steel braai grids give you flexibility for different dishes, from steaks to a slow-cooked potjie. The built-in light fitting covers evening entertaining, Whether you prefer wood or charcoal the ash pan tray & trap combination keep clean-up simple.

Is this suitable for a coastal home?
The mild steel construction suits inland areas or indoor applications better. For coastal indoor spaces within a few kilometers of the coast line, the 304 stainless steel (special-order) upgrade is recommended or 316 Stainless steel for better corrosion resistance.

This unit is manufactured to order, with a lead time of approximately 10–15 business days.
